Tip : never work for free
My mom wants me to do portraits to people and sell them but when I tell the price she is" no is too much for them" but she doesn't know how long I'm working on them
Plus I really don't like to draw portraits :/

I am 14 years old and started a youtube channel for painting.
Main stream rubbish. Full of deceit, advertising and selling products. Its all about money at the end of the day.
I want to do architecture, interior design for some extra cash
But I also want to do art (colored pencils)
What should I do

Earned 250k even when she was still below 1mio subscribers with showing painting videos online.
Kind of makes me a bit sick of modern society, given that doctors who study ~12 years and then work 60-80 hours in hospitals per week with nightshifts earn less than she does per year.
And now with 1mio subs she is probably somewhere in the 350k-500k per year.

No one believes I can do anything untill I demonstrate, then they'll just forget and doubt me again.
The social media way is hard near to impossible… it's just pure luck. I used to have an account where i consistently posted my work and my progress for two year and i only had 180 followers. I believe 180 followers are a lot but the thing is that I didn't get much feedback from a lot of them so i could tell that they just saw something on my page they liked, then they followed and they never looked at my page again. I deleted the page because it wasn't going through at all and to be honest i think it was for the best.
Currently watching this video with tears drying on my cheeks. I'm a young artist who's terrified of turning my art into a business! Thanks for this video, I appreciate it wholeheartedly 💖
