I really hate that this happened and would feel worse for her IF she didn't herself join in other twitter mobs herself against other people for equally benign stuff. Of all of her supposed sins, that is the one she glossed over and it is the only one that matters. Why does it only become wrong and horrible when it happens to you? It was always wrong! It was wrong to everyone you did it to. They went through similar stuff that you are going through and YOU DID THAT TO THEM. Judge not lest ye be judged yourself…quite literal in this case.
If we think someone is wrong or mistaken about something can we just let them know without piling on them
It upsets me that Lindsay doesn't have a good therapist to help her through this. If someone dismissed what you're going through, they are a shitty therapist, period.
I know what an exhausting and emotionally draining process it is to audition therapists especially when you're in the middle of a crisis but I promise there are so many good ones out there who would be able to help. Please find the help that you deserve!!

Honestly asking: what is the value of Twitter?
The entire campaign to cancel her can only be described as the most bad faith, opportunistic, sleazy and disingenuous accusations from the worst low-ranking bottom-feeding incels from the four corners of the internet.
Not one accusation from her can be described in good faith, it was never about social reform or redressing an issue, it wasn't about social justice: it was 100% a bunch of pathetic, old, low socially ranking men who were threatened by A Visible Woman on the Left who was experiencing a visible amount of success and needed to shut her down, utterly pathetic and I'm glad she's still alright.

I don't think the person looses credibility from the audience. I mean, it depends, but people who like to see you will keep seeing you, because we know it was a weird cancellation thing that happens nowadays that not necessarily has to do with what you really are.
But I believe you get exhausted and looses pleasure of doing content… But it's also something of self-esteem, because we who know this was rubbish still trust you.

There are people who are simple tickled pink that they had the power to "cancel" someone and they don't even care what the pertinent issues are.
I love Lindsay's work and have since the Channel Awesome days, but I'm not sure I would describe her work as politically neutral, especially as she points out, by Youtube standards. We don't deserve online content of her quality.
